The features I like in Wavelab that Protools does not have is:ġ) The Apogee dithering from 24 bit to 16 bit in Wavelabģ) The professional PDF printout of all tracks and session data for the clientĤ) I like the stereo enhancer plug-in to give it a little additional stero "splash"ĥ) I can easily change the space, time, track markers for the CD montageĦ) The ability to tweak track volumes between various tracks.

Wavelab does alot more than I think I will ever want or need to use.almost too much crap.I like to keep it simple.īaisically, I am good with my mix out of Protools, or I would have continued to refine it in that program.

I use the bounce to disk at 16 bit / 44.1 for easy rough mixes for CD's at the end of a session.īut for the final mix, the only difference is that I bounce to disk out of Protools keeping it at 24 bit. I am doing all of my recording and editing work in Protools, and I use a few plug ins on the mix bus that I like like the Massey Limiter, occasionally ReelTape, FabFilter compressor, etc.
